Lake Zumbro….

Just a heads up guys, that apparently a truck has gone through the ice on the Zumbro. Mike Fischer from Hookedonfishing Bait and Tackle mentioned this on another site and did not give any specifics as to location or whether it was a deep water or shoreline drop-in. The fact still remains that this lake has a history for bad ice every year and extreme caution should be used if you are driving on the lake. I personally will not drive out there. If you choose to, keep a door open!

Anybody know if the people made it out ok? Any river is dangerous as theres current and ice freezes different in spots too. Lakes can also be dangerous due to springs that the keep the water warmer where the springs are which means you could have 12” here and 2” a couple feet away. Best to walk and stay alive.
