chester woods any good for bass??

i know that you can have really good bass bites in the trees behind the beach in the summer but were do the bass go in the winter ?? havent been able to hook up with a bass yet this year.

i caught about a 4# Large mouth out there through the ice 2 years ago……the biggest bass i had ever caught up to that point. that is the only one that i’ve ever caught through the ice out there. although i can’t say i’ve ever really targeted them through the ice, unless you count jigging waxies on a teardrop as targeting them .
