I haven’t been out there but have been hearing that some guys are getting them when the sun goes down in the evenings. Watch your locator to see where the fish are and don’t be afraid to cast shallow to see if they are up there. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Does anyone know if the water level has been lowered to winter level yet?
    Thanks, Bill

Been doing ok. the later in the day for me has been better, but mornings are still good. The fish I have been finding are 16 to 30 fow locating them up high is key. The lake was low a week and a half ago buit the rain actually has brought the level up past summer pool. GOOD LUCK!!

Thanks. I went out yesterday [Sunday] to burn up ALOT of old gas [don’t go through much gas when fishing the lake]. I did spend a small amount of time fishing but not even a bite. Out of all the guys I talked to only one fish had been caught. With the water levels going up and down this past couple weeks it has put the fish in a no bite mode it seems. But there are always fish to catch. A person just needs to be on the lake at the right time of day [morning and evening] I think. It was a GREAT day weather wise to be out there. I’m still waiting for Indian Summer [hint hint mother nature].
    Thanks, Bill
