Spent most of Wen. and Thurs. there. Wenesday was a fair day. Caught a couple of real slab sunnies and enough eaters for a meal. Lot of small sunnies and crappies. About an hour before dark started catching some decent crappies. Tried a lot of different spots both shallow and deep. Best luck was in 18 to 25 ft. and almost all the fish were in the 12 to 15 ft. depths. Had best luck for the bigger fish with just a plain red hook and small minnow.Almost all the better fish came on this setup. Thurs. was a slow bite for us. A ton of real small crappies and 1 small northern. Couldn’t find any decent fish. Be carefull on the ice. Seen a few people fall real hard. Some kind of grippers are a very good idea. Ice was about a ft. thick all over. Good luck.
