Night Bite around Rochester?

Does anyone know where a decent night bite is in Rochester? Times, baits, lakes? I often can not fish until after 6:00 PM, but I do not know where or when to fish after dark.

Depends on what you want.

Everything around here is a mud bottom and a night bite probably isn’t a real good target. The puddles around town will give up some sunfish and dink crappies after dark for a while but I wouldn’t get too excited.

Foster will have some fihing after dark if you’re after the trout. They like the low light.

Chestrwoods has had some after-dark activity. Fish neaared the dam there.

The Zumbro gives up some crappies after dark if you are able to find something to do between hits. Some people swear there is a great night bite out there, but I swear they are only out there to suck suds and couldn’t tell you if they even fished or not.

i am gonna go do some experimenting either sunday night or some night next week on so smaller stuff shoot me a pm probably leave my house around 830 maybe fish till 2 at the latest

KR7 Reservior has been giving up fish at night but most are small.
