The water remains high and very dirty with debris which has caused the bite to really slow down from what it was earlier. With some patience you can find bluegills very close to shore and the crappies are very tight to wood in some normal areas yet can also be found suspended in other areas where there isn’t much wood. You have to search for them but fish can be found. The first crappie pic is one taken from open water that was suspended. The next crappie pic was of a fish found close to wood. The bluegill was taken from very close to the shoreline by casting. Mini-mite jigs have been producing the best even in a tough bite.

    Thanks, Bill
