Even though we still have alot of good ice fishing to do yet with the thick ice we have right now, all this nice warmer weather gives a guy a bad case of ”open water fishin pox.” So it must be time to start the Lake Zumbro Ice Off contest. The prize for guessing the date will again be a six pack of Mini-mites. The winner can pick these up at HOF after the contest. By ice off I am referring to all of the ice being melted all the way down to the Ponderosa boat launch which is above the dam. Good luck everyone and ”come on spring.”
