Spent a couple hours out on Lake Zumbro this afternoon. The bite was on the slow side, but there are fish to be caught. I saw lots more lookers than biters, but managed to coax a few into biting. A diamond jig tipped with red spikes was all I tried today. Fished in 22 FOW with most of the biters coming 1-4 ft. off bottom. I had almost constant activity right on the bottom, but those fish would not bite. Was fun to be out there again! Maybe the fish will get more active as the temp increases this week?
