Got a chance to get out on my home lake sunday and found that everyone and their brother is there too. There is getting to be more and more people on that lake. Maybe a good thing maybe a bad?? Even with temps far below freezing we managed to get into some fish as. I took my buddy out there who said he never catches anything on that stinkin lake. Just to prove him wrong. We got out a lil later than normal and drilled a few holes in about 22 fow and we had fish 2-5 off the bottom on the marcum. (crappies) As i said to him this dont get much better. As we get set up and settled in to the eskimo HEATER goin and lines down its only a matter of time before my spring is movin and we got nice fish on the ice.Bam one then two before we knew it we hade 14nnice slabs plenty for a meal. so we packed back up and scooted on out. Great day with friends and nothig can beat them 13 inchers. Found best luck on glow diamond jigs tipped with a minnow we found at hooked on fishing!! (thanks mike)
