Anybody get out fishing on one of the area lakes or Zumbro River last weekend? If so how did you do? Stopped out at Hooked On Fishing last Sunday and picked up a bunch of 1/16 oz. jigs for crappie fishing this fall. Mike has a good selection of jigs and tubes too for the fall bite. I spent Friday and Sat. on the Mississippi River with a slow walleye bite . The sheephead and small cats were biting pretty good but really had to work for keeper size eys. Dragging jigs with crawlers and leeches and also trolling 3-ways with live bait on floaters is what I used on flats.
