Was out this after noon very tough bite. Got some nice bluegills to commite, but those darn crappies, caught 4 but took 15 holes and alot of work. They just seemed to want to look. Only the agressive ones would take. Diamond jigs still seemed to be the best tipped with waxies. Crappies were in the 9 inch range and the gills 6 to 8 inches. If ya go out wear some spikes its slick. Hope this is helpful.
