nice crappies on Pepin

    I have heard from several people that Lake Pepin is producing some very nice crappies right now. The shoreline riprap is a good place to work for them. Sounds like the MN side below Lake City and down toward Camp Lacupolis is good, as well as the WS side by Maiden Rock.

    Any certain depths better than others? What baits or lures do you recommend and do you have them in stock for us fisherman to stop in and pick up on our way to Lake City?

    Small jigs like 1/32 or 1/16 oz. are working well. Shallower water along riprap has been the best. We have a big selection of jigs!
