I am pleased to announce that the HOF League and the Ultimate Panfish League Rochester will join forces for this ice fishing season!
Tyler Holm, Bill Harwick, and Mike Smith will act as hosts for these events. Some events will be held on weekday evenings as the UPLR had, and will also have some during the daytime on weekends. The schedule is yet to be determined, but we plan to have them on several different bodies of water including area lakes around Rochester and also on the Mississippi River backwaters.
There will be a $10 entry fee and optional $1 big fish pot. Anglers will be able to weigh up to 4 crappies and 4 sunfish for the regular contest, and 1 fish of any species for the optional big fish contest. Payback will be 100%, split between the top 3 positions for the regular contest. The optional big fish contest will be winner take all.
More details will be forthcoming soon. The first event will be dependent upon the arrival of cold weather and sufficient ice.
