Fished with my 7 year old grandson today for a bit. For panfish we caught bluegills but no crappies. Early it was foggy and there was alot of wood floating around but as the morning progressed the fog was gone, most of the wood was gone, and it turned into a beautifull fall day to be on the water. I know there was a real nice smallie caught and a nice northern too in the boat Mike Schmitt and Bill Harwick were fishing in. Nice fish guys. Lots of small gills mixed in with the bigger ones today for panfish. We didn’t catch any crappies but the gills were fun on light tackle. Mini-mites of course. The bites were real light so you needed to add a waxie.
Thanks, Bill
