The Lake Zumbro Water Level was 920.59 ft., or approximately 0.6 ft. above the crest on 08/30/07 at 6:48:01 AM .

Its getting much closer to the ”No Wake” being removed. Shouldn’t be long now as long as we don’t get any more rain.
    Thanks, Bill

The no-wake status has been lifted. There is still lots of floating stuff, so use extra caution.

The no-wake was lifted this morning. The lake is in good shape with very little debris.

A little birdie told me that you and Ron [RHW] caught ALOT of nice fish today on Lake Zumbro using different colored Mini-mites.
    Thanks, Bill

Concerning the no wake, not sure if I’m glad or not. Its nice to be able to get to different places on the lake faster but its sure nice having it so peacefull. And the no boat wakes sure makes for some great fishing as the waves aren’t pushing you off your spot on the spot. Oh well, atleast its only September with nice temps and the water is still soft.
    Thanks, Bill

Once again, the recent rain raised the lake level enough for the “no-wake” status to be in effect.

BUT cheer up guys as that means we own the water as we don’t need speed to fish like pleasure boaters, jet skis, and water skiers.

Why does the DNR close the landing by Sandy Point ? And do they close the landing at Ponderosa also? And if they do why would it be different than Sandy Point

for some reason when it is no wak they shut down the sandy point access. if i had to guess i would say that it is because of the current which is plenty more up there then down by ponderosa or fishermans for that matter. if you really want to know shoot the dnr and e-mail they have answered every crazy question i have shot at them. ike
