I wish you folks well down there….that’s a lot of water and one heck of a mess to clean up. Had to really be screaming coming out of the hills..

Where I live in Rochester was relatively unscathed in comparison to the low lying areas like Elba and Stockton that absolutely got creamed. There’s really no telling what this will do to our fish populations, but to me, people’s safety and getting them back home and cleaned up is more of a concern than the fish.

By the way, it’s still raining here….

Thanks for the rain fall site link Dave.

This kind of rain is just terrible as to what it can do to peoples lives and homes that are in the lower flood areas. Can you imagine cleaning all that crud up after the water levels in your house finally go down. Its a terrible thing.
    Thanks, Bill

I spent my Sunday afternoon at St. Charles where a few buildings got flooded, one the Olmsted Medical Center and Pharmacy, and the other two were “retirement communities”. WOW is all I can say.

For those of you not in the area who want to help out, I can not say enough about the Red Cross. They are always there with food, warm clothes, a place to stay, etc. They are a wonderful organization who are always there when needed. My hats off to those volunteers
