    So far this year what has the average 4 and 4 weight been to get first place? I haven’t looked back through previous posts but I’d say it’s been around the 4 pounds plus range? That’s pretty decent I’d say. Eight half pounders.

    Not counting the first one because of bad weather which produced few fish, the results are interesting:
    Average 1st place is 4 lb. 4 oz.
    Average 2nd place is 3 lb. 15 oz.
    Average 3rd place is 3 lb. 9 oz.

    The mini-mites and small feather/hair jigs seemed to be producing the most fish.
