The forcast does not look promising so we will not have our tourney this evening. Here is what they are predicting and I can see some heavy stuff moving our direction on the radar:
Showers and thunderstorms are going to be on the increase this afternoon. Some of these storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds being the main threat….and mainly after 2 PM. Heavy rainfall from the storms and frequent lightning should also be expected. Some locations may have numerous storms affect them this afternoon…which would raise the flooding threat by evening.

Good idea. Safety first. Well that and you looked pretty tired.

From his fishing update from this morning he must be tired from catching all those fish. [rough life huh?!]

Nate and Jessie, and Rick Cordie were the only ones that made it out there. They decided to fish anyway and got lucky as they didn’t get bad weather like Rochester did for a short bit. If the event would of taken place it would of poured. You know how that goes. They went teams for tonight and each team had 5 lb of fish. Nate said that Rick told him that July and August get even better cause the bigger fish start showing up. Sounds like the fun is just starting guys.

    Thanks, Bill

It was a Awsome night for sure nice and calm no rain and the fish all to ourselfs and of course Rick and myself had to have a little competition.
So we decided to go $10.00 a boat and weigh our best 5 bluegills and 5 best Crappies and fish for 2hrs well the bite was fantastic as usual Jessie lost count at 72 fish for the night but the crappies and gills were just smoking the light jigs suspended about 4ft off bottom. well the results ended up in a tie Rick and ourselves both weighed in 5lbs even so we traded ten dollor bills and went on our way. But it was a blast and can’t wait until next week.
