2 Hours – 3 Kids- Over 100 Fish

    Hey all- my family hit K7 tonight for a couple of hours on the east shore. Kids were throwing naked mini-mites and caught a fish on 90% of the cast. Mixed bag- mostly sunnies, some bluegill, crappies, and perch. One of the perch was pushing 12 inches. I spent all of my time pulling off fish. All were released to grow bigger as they were not there yet. Plans are being made to drag the canoe out there and look for some crappies in deeper water.

    One thing- we have been pulling ticks off of us since we left there. The tall grass is LOADED with them.

    I bet your wife was thrilled when you said “Hey Honey, were home, and we brought company: (2,000 ticks).

    Yes it IS that time of year again…

    Glad to see you all had fun. Those Mini-Mites that HOF sells are dynomite on the lakes around here. They sure work great for me too.

    nicely done troy. i always know as a kid it was good to outfish the old man. But now as a dad i can’t wait for my kids to outfish me. nicely done and yeah look out for those ticks YIKES
