Truck splashes into Silver Lake

    There was an article in last night’s paper. I guess the truck had just unloaded some coal at the power plant by Silver Lake. It was left running unattended without all the brakes set. Rolled across the road, down the embankment and into the lake. They said no one was injured, there was no harm to the water and the truck was pulled out within a couple hours.

    HA to bad they pulled it out so quick looks like a good current break too but Bill would probably snag that too

    I saw that right after it went in. And Bill was already there. He’s emptied three boxes of wheaties and four cans of spinach by the time the tow trucks arrived I hear and had put on his Super Bill suit. The trucks were not needed really, but someone called them and they wouldn’t leave because nobody could cover the service call. Bill put his suit away quietly like a real gentleman.

    Don’t know about you guys. Sure would of been a big snag. But a very nice current break indeed. I would hate to be that truck driver when he had to explain to his employer about what happened. Ouch.
