Fun, fun,fun…..
Exactly what I figured. I knew it. Only a passing shower though tomorrow from 1:00-2:00 I believe is what I saw. Even chance of alittle snow Wed too I hear. Blame it on me as I want to get my boat on the water.
Well tomorrow is April so we will finally be out of March. And that makes us closer to the Hooked On Fishing Leaque Events that start April 12th that take place every Thursday night on Lake Zumbro. And then theres Tylers Ultimate Panfish Leaque Events for open water that rotates between Lake Zumbro and Chesterwoods along with a few other bodies of water too in the area every other Monday night I believe that will be taking place too. And that all means ALOT of good fishing time with both old friends and new friends every week on open water in the Rochester area. This is a great way to have alot of fun, promote fishing, and even introduce fishing to a friend or neighbor. See you on the water.
Thanks, Bill
Zake Zumbro is finally at normal pool. So have fun and let us know how you do.
Thanks, Bill
39 degrees Bill. Thats the average water temp this morning.
Fish deep, fish slow. Dress warmer than you think you need to.
I managed nine this morning but they were a tough nine. Nice fish though….to 13″ and nothing under 11. All c/r’d. Dark baits and deep water, like 22 feet. Fish were very tight to the bottom near sunken structure. I never marked a fish under 18′ today. And everything came from mid-lake areas. Rattlesnake had the most activity going when I was there.
I will be helping Mike break in his newer boat tonight. Hopefully it catches fish too.
Thanks, Bill
Warmer weather is coming guys. 50 this weekend, 59-60 on Monday and then 50s the rest of next week. And that means the water will be warming up and the fish will be biting better and that equals FISH ON.
Thanks, Bill
They are talking air temps in the mid 70s this Saturday and 70 Sunday which should boost the water temps up some more and turn the fish on. I’m not ready for summers high air temps though as the 60s and lower 70s are much better for fishing in but the higher temps are much wanted now which will help to kick the entire food chain in which puts all fish in gear for chow time. And we all know what that means-great fishin. Or should I say FISH ON!!! Gee…I think must I like those words or something. Hope to see you on the water. And of course feel free to share on how you do. This is how we ALL learn more about how to catch fish and learn more about different techniques so YOUR imput is much more valuable than you think. Everybody, and I mean everybody, learns from this so YOU can help others to enjoy their time on the water more by sharing what you know and learn on each fishing outting.
Thanks, Bill
