Spring is here in southern Minnesota so lets start talkin fishin. Where do you plan to wet a line? Got a favorite shore spring spot that you like to fish before all the ice goes out? Found a body of water where theres alot of open water at that you haven’t told anyone about yet? Where are you going to put the boat in at for the first time this year? Did you buy some new toys for the boat? New boat? New motor? New fish toys like rods, reels, tackle? Lets talk fishin.
    Thanks, Bill

Came home for lunch yesterday and found the UPS man came and dropped off my new butt seat pedistal for the front of the boat along with an anchor I ordered. Spent 3 nights working on the boat last week getting things ready. Only have a few things left to do yet then I will be set for open water. Gotta love this time of year when we can get the boat out on the Mississippi River or get it ready for the almost open water time here in the Rochester area. Pretty soon the lakes around the Farbault area will be opening up, then the Twin Cities area, then further up north etc til we have open water everywhere. All winter we dream of this open water coming, and warmer temps, and seeing life starting to come back in nature all around us. Its a great time to start making those dreams come true. To start making those new toys a reality. A great time to go for a drive and see open water and wet a line along a river bank, a lake shoreline, and eventually in a boat. Its a great time to be alive. Its a great time to talk fishin.
    Thanks, Bill

Well I am looking to drop the new boat in Clearwater as soon as ice out. I am a bit excited about open water this year. One of the lakes I am looking forward to working is Sugar..
Otherwise I will be spending just about everyday on one of the lakes in or around my area..
As for new toys besides the boat I am looking at picking up a couple St. Croix Tourneys from Everts Resort the next time I am down there. I added alot of new Shimanos to my arsenal this year and alot of new baits to try thanks to BfishN and there new line of those firecracker Paddle tails. The lakes I fish need change once in awhile because of the pressure they recieve.
That is about it hope to see some of you on the water this year in my area as well..

I just picked this up last Saturday. Can’t wait to get it out and give it a try. I’m dying to get to Pool 4, but not sure this is the place to put a boat in that I haven’t ran, let alone getting it back on the trailer. I know it’s busy, and don’t want to hold things up. Still am excited to get it out……sometime, hopefully sooner than later.
