You can’t complain about this dandy Red lake walleye. It was a shade over 21 inches.Hopefully she’ll catch it again when its about 30″. She caught a 14″ crappie also this weekend and had one of those mythical Red monsters on for about a minute. Total chaos. She was holding the rod straight out as the drag ripped out and the tip was going straight down the hole. We had a blast and I shoveled out a skating rink for her also. She spent Friday afternoon fishing in her skates until there was no action and then step out the front door onto the rink. The dream trip for an eight year old girl who loves to fish and loves the outdoors. If it wasn’t for the cost of gas we would be back up there this weekend.

That pic showing such a happy gal is worth the trip alone. She will make a great fishinbg partner.
