March 10th is this year’s return of Crappie Tom’s Zumbro Zinger. The event is on Lake Zumbro near Fisherman’s Inn. Fishing starts at 8 a.m. This is another good chance to fish with some old and new friends, and enjoy the day. There will be some grills to use if you care to bring food to cook, and bring your own beverages.

Crappie Tom Lake Zumbro Zinger Event info:
March 10 2007 Fishermans Inn Area Lake Zumbro
This is open to all, without fee. The gathering will take place in the same location as the IDA event, Fishermans Inn public piers. The hours are from anytime after 7:30 until whenever people feel like calling it a day.
There will be grills for those who want to bring some chow to broil and there is a porta-potti on the site for women and childrens convenience.
This is just fun fishing, with meeting some experienced anglers an extra bonus for those who are beginning this wonderful sport. I have always encouraged the novice adult with children to get to this event since it is within close proximity to Rochester, close to shore, close to the necessities and is held at a time when there will likely be a very decent fishery available. Like the ida event that Mike has put together, it is the fishing that gets promoted.
Good clean events, good people….now that’s fishing at its finest.
