Thanks, BillMarch 5, 2007 at 3:39 pm #544784Yeah Briank. First you wimp out on the Freeze your Butt tourney and now the Rochester GTG. Have you gone soft on us? Are you building up good points with the FW so you can sneak out at night this summer more? You stayed home and watched the Golf Channel all day???

I looked up wimp in the dictionary and there was Brian’s picture!March 6, 2007 at 2:28 am #545088Now be nice you guys…..Brian’s a sensitive guy, and you could damage something by talking this way !
He was probably rewatching the IDA videos and just lost track of time.March 6, 2007 at 2:37 am #545091Well let’s see Frank………. Who was another guy that was missing in action Sunday?
March 6, 2007 at 5:18 am #545149Yah Frank. I was counting on you being there so we could talk fishin and couldn’t find you anywhere.
Thanks, BillMarch 7, 2007 at 2:34 am #545640I placed a big O on it.. I’m still hurting by not being able to make it.. I love gills on the short rod over anything…
March 7, 2007 at 2:48 am #545645Derek missed a lot of fun that day! I always put a big X on the boat and it never fails……..I always am on the hotspot!
March 7, 2007 at 3:23 am #545680Now you guys watchin all this good o’l stuff goin on here need to know that this is a good healthier way to get rid of that cabin fever pressure and we are all nice to each other…really. Feel free to join in and lets talk fishin…and fishin….and fishin….and some more fishin. Now granted if you were at the last GTG last Sunday what we are saying would have alittle more meaning as we are carrying over some from last Sunday but cheer up. We aren’t done yet cause we haven’t even talked about Toms green hat yet. [opps did I say that? ]

Yes, Tom’s puke green hat….. I can’t believe it has held up for like 60 years now! At least I have a nice hat!
March 7, 2007 at 3:31 am #545689Tom, you out there? Your lucky green ice fishin hat needs you to defend it. Can’t wait to turn my new ”keep me warm hat” into a summer hat. Come on spring.
March 7, 2007 at 3:35 am #545694Boy…and I thought my hat was furry. You should see Mikes new hat and ponytail. Derek would be envious of your new ice fishin outfit Mike. Its pure Vexilar in style.
March 7, 2007 at 3:36 am #545696Was that a hat?I thought he picked up a roadkill on the way to the GTG.
March 7, 2007 at 1:33 pm #545785CT hat really stands out. Don’t think I could pull that off. And I thought my Flag on my shack gave me away alot. Doug
Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559March 7, 2007 at 5:32 pm #545924Yes Bill, I’m out here. My hat, it sure takes a verbal beating, but thats ok. It has held up well, but not quite the 60 years that Mike suggested. 56-57 maybe. And speaking of the dead….Mike had his car kill on. What with the wind we had when he arrived I found it interesting to see him turn the hat around with the tail to the front to keep his nose warm…I think that’s what he was doing. The beard keeps everything else warm, but his nose.
If youguys only knew how many hours that old hat has logged on the water and ice you’d feel ashamed for picking on it. lol
I did buy a new one last year, but it is more of a bright chartreuseish-yellow. That one hurts even my eyes….while I am wearing it.
I had a great time and am looking forward to a repeat this Saturday. Yes….the green will attend too.
March 7, 2007 at 5:46 pm #545934Whoops.
I didn’t even think Mike was wearing a hat. I thought it was his wrap around beard, overgrown eyebrows, and a nice rat tail (still growing from the ’80s). I was going to suggest a cut/trim but after finding out that was a hat, I’m glad I refrained.
Nice hat Mike! I’m sure glad they don’t make that one available in puke green/chart.

Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559March 8, 2007 at 4:32 am #546264I have decided to bring my Davie Crockett portable mountain and some old buckskins for Mike to change into. That way we can get some pics of him high up on a hilltop, hand over the eyes and wearing a dead animal on his head…just like Davie did in Kaintuckey when he was looking for “the way”. I’ll bring some fluorescent green chartreuse spray paint too, so we can “fix” the car kill.

No, no, no. No need to change colors on my hat….. Now, some nice fire-engine red for your hat would be a great idea!Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559March 9, 2007 at 2:11 am #546647Red? I don’t think so. Tyler maybe would look good in red. The Tomaso? Nada.
