Stop on out at the Mayo Civic Center and check out the Alumacraft boat line and see why more and more people are buying Alumacrafts. Also I believe there will be a couple Ultracraft boats [Misty Harbor Boats] there which is a new line of boats Smittys Marine is carrying. If you are looking for a lighter weight boat that doesn’t need a big truck to tow it in the 14-17 ft range yet has alot of great features in a real nice price range these boats will fit your needs/wants very nicely. I was amazed at all the features these boats have for their price line. Also new to SE MN is the Yar-Craft Fishing Boat line which is a fiberglass boat an one of the top fishing boats made in the USA. In fact Tommy Kemos won the PWT [Professional Walleye Trail] Championship fishing in his Yar-Craft boat. I don’t know if there will be one at the show as I believe they haven’t come in yet but they are coming to Smittys Marine real soon. There will also be campers and resorts there too. A great way to get away from it all is in a camper at the lake or river. I know I sure can’t wait to be able to be able to spend time again in Lake City at Lake Pepin Campground just across the road from Lake Pepin. Boy, that weather can’t get here fast enough for this guy. Cabin Fever hits us all hard this time of year and a great way to get alittle relief is going to the Sports Show. Nate Cadwell [Fishing Pro and one of the top walleye fishermen on the Mississippi River], Ron Bang [Smittys salesperson], and I will be at the Smittys Marine area so please stop by and say hi when you are there. In fact Friday night I will be at the Walleye Searchers booth and if you want to find a great fun way to learn more about fishing Lake Pepin and the river parts also stop and see me or anyone else during the weekend and we will tell you how. Also feel free to pick up a flyer about the upcoming Seminar that takes place On March 19th sponsored by Walleye Searchers. We will be having two local Mississippi River fishermen who are In-Depthangling.com Staff people each giving a seminar on how to find and catch walleyes on the Mississippi River. And the seminars are FREE. Lots of great things going on at the Sports Show and its a great way to spend the weekend indoors with other fishermen and campers all enjoying the same things. Hope to see you there.
Thanks, Bill
