    I took a walk over noon – and dang it – it’s nice outside….

I – like many of you – have been waiting for cold air to make some ice – I too, have my fair share of ice toys sitting at home, unused – Unlike some of you, due to work commitments, I was unable to get out on the ice we had, while we had it….

So – much as this is going to sound like herasy, and as much as it hurts….

Uncle – Mother Nature – Uncle! You win!

Melt the ice, bring back open water…. Let me get the boat and long rods out. Those work commitments kept me out of the boat last summer, and off the ice most of last winter, so what’s there to loose? Bring it on – sunshine, warm air. Just let me go fishing – Please Ma?? Please???

Is that to much to ask???? Even if I have to start mowing the grass again…

    Puh-leeeezzzeeeee!?!?!?!?!?!???

Hey Grump, Lake of the Ozarks is just a short drive south of Dodge County isn’t it?

LOz is about 3-350 mi. due south, as is Truman Lk. I have a buddy down there – and it has been awhile…..you got a fine idea there….

I just eye-balled WeatherUnderground – it indicates that Roch has 66.9F temp right now…..

the pain – oh the pain….

    Slip

thats what it was when I looked – a couple others here at work saw it to… but seems hard to believe.

Could have been a “gremlin” in the electronics some where -an extra bit in a single character is all it would take….

Most PC’s and the internet are ASCII based.

The number 4 (display) is hex ’34’ which is
    ‘0011 0100’ in binary

The number 6 (display) is hex ’36’ which is
    ‘0011 0110’ in binary.

Could have been a bad temp sensor – any number of things…
