Ron (RHW) and I made a trip to the MS backwaters yesterday (forgot the camera, so no pics.) The fish are not real active, but they are there. With a slower presentation – like a mini-mite jig tipped with a waxie, fished under a bobber – we were able to do very well. Got lots of nice gills and quite a few nice perch.

We were over by the Wabasha/Kellogg area, but I am also hearing that many of the backwaters are producing the same results.

Hope you can get out to enjoy some of the great fishing!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

But atleast when I forget the camera ”most” of the time its in the van instead of back at the shop which is ”MUCH” farther away. Mikes just too use to me bringing the camera, being the camera man, and posting the pics. Think maybe he likes being in the camera pics and not taking the pics?
    Thanks, Bill
