Well guys the weekends almost here so where is everyone fishing? Plan to be down at Lake Zumbro again probably. Big motor wouldn’t start last weekend so HOF and I motored around using my 8 hp kicker motor. Gotta fish ya know. If I get a call that its fixed I might drop it in on the Mississippi River while I’m there picking it up. Otherwise its Zumbro checking/looking for different structure that would hold fish and learn something new. The good o’l jon boat with a pull starting 9.9 Johnson never fails to start. Its great for emergancy fishing fixes too as can get into about any body of water with it.
    Thanks, Bill

tomorrow’s out, got the night shift this weekend.
even though sunday is illinois’ archery deer/turkey opener, forecast is sunny and 80 so we are heading to pool 19 to see if we can scare up some walleyes and/or crappies.
i usually wait a couple of weeks, or until it cools off a little, before hitting my deer stands anyway. will be chasing turkeys after work next week, though.

Going to be hitting pool 18 both days for the eyes. They were active last weekend hoping for the same this weekend. They are starting to show up on the wing dams and the sand flats were good in the late evening. Good luck to all.

Forest Lake – 10 boats in our fishing club are taking out some foster kids for the Youth Services Bureau..

A former troubled youth (me) is taking out todays Youth Gone Wild and hopefully we’re putting fish in the boat.

You have Sunday off Mr Smith. Are you fishing Sunday? I hear there are fish waiting to be caught.
    Thanks, Bill

Nope, I need to be at the store with “the new employee” just in case they need some help.

    Good Fishing,

I think you just want to be at the store talkin walleye fishin with your new employee who happens to be someone who you know can kick my on the water. Isn’t pumping secrets [] out of someone called torture, incarnation, whatever other words there are like that? Just be sure and take good notes and share them with me.

    Thanks, Bill
