    Mr and Mrs HOF and I were at Ron’s Surprise Birthday Party at Heritiage Suites Hotel that his wife and daughter put on for him late afternoon today. He thought he was driving there to meet his daughter and see the cool room she rented to stay in as she is from out of town and then driving her to some place to eat dinner. He walks in the hotel and walks by the entrance to a party room we all were in and all of a sudden he hears a loud ”SURPRISE.” Not registering what was yelled he stops dead in his tracks thinking someone had a heart attack and he looks in the room and sees ALOT of people in there smiling and waving to him. He stands there looking into the room and sees alot of people he knows and is puzzled. [For two months this was a kept secret from him] Boy was he ”SURPRISED.” The look on his face was unreal. Was great being a part of it. Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD!!!

    It was difficult not mentioning his party on line yesterday! Sure wanted to make it…in body, as my heart was down there yelling “Suprise!” with the rest of you!

    I got to Ron’s party a little after 6 – so I missed the SURPRISE yell – but to hear Ron tell the story – he was mad as heck as to why he had to drive to that hotel – vs waiting for Mrs RHW to come home from church so they could take one car and not two.

    Well done done to both Ron’s wife and daughter – they done excellant!!! And well done to all of those w/ invites to the party for not spilling the beans….

    Thank you all for sending Birthday wishes. Great bunch of people.
    Yes, my surprize Birthday party was a huge surprize to say the least. When they yelled, thought for sure someone was dying, then looked in and saw all these familiar faces.
    Have to admit for a few seconds, it didn’t register and I stood there dumbfounded. A big thanks to all that attended and for those who couldn’t, you were missed.
