Hey Eric it was Rick Nelson & Trevor Hockert. Fritsch kept the banana boat in the garage for the weekend.

The bite on Sunday was very tough. Trevor did catch a real nice smallie but wrong time of year for that. The weather was great though!!!

    10/15/06 Results
    1st place-Dan Christopherson-10lb7oz
    Big Bass-Brian Ness-3lb10oz.

Had 5 boats show today, with only 2 bringing in limits.
I not being one of them.
Smallies were on fire, but not what we were looking for.
Fish seemed to be scattered with everything from Plastics,
to Spinner Baits,to Crank Baits taking fish.
Was a little cool at 7 am,but once your guides quit
freezing up it was a Beautiful day.

Since Eron and Gravenhof were sissy’s and stayed warm today, I thought I’d pass on the results. Only 4 boats this morning. It was pretty chilly, but little wind did make it a little better. Danny boy was ON em today.

    1 – Dan Christopherson – 16 lbs
    2 – Chuck Campbell – 10 lbs
    3 – Matt Pretzer – 8 lbs
    BB – Dan – 5 lbs

i would be willing to bet that this late in the year that mr. eron has traded his fishing sticks for his bow. Any hints as to what worked on sunday? Nice going i think that is the first 16 pound bag of the year. That is a nice stringer for the old zum to give up

I don’t think any bait was the key, you just had to fish it SLOW!

16 pounds is a good Zumbro bag. I have the boat puy away and all the gear is in the basement. I’m hunting now. If I get a chance and a ride I might be down to visit though.

Eric, I thought you hunted for fish every week. How did the animals get into here? Good luck on your hunting.

Anybody know how long the tourneys are going to take place this year?

    Thanks, Bill

I assume the tournaments will go until people stop showing up?? Not sure to be honest. I’ll be their next weekend if the weather stays on track (48 and sunny).

Eric, if you’re interested in fishing next week, let me know.

I’d like to fish 7:30 to 11:30 next week, but not sure how to get the word out to all that fish.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back Sat night.

The tourneys will go until people quit showing up. Usually a few will keep coming until they can’t break their boat through the ice anymore.
Chuck, I’ll keep you updated if I will be fishing.
Do you have toilet paper in the boat???

Pretzer and partner 14-8 and BB of 5 lbs.
Dan Christopherson 2nd with 4 fish (not weighed).
    Kenny and myself both blanked.

With the exception of Pretzer’s boat, it was a pretty tough day. GORGEOUS day on the water though.

    11-05-2006 Results

    1st-Matt Pretzer-2 Fish-6.5lbs
    2nd-Ken Stock and Partner-2 Fish-4lbs
    3rd-Dan Christopherson-1 Fish-?lbs
    4th-No Fish Gravenhof-

    What a day,I couldn’t get anything going.
I ended up with one Smallie and lost one LM.
No one set the lake on fire as you can see.
It seemed to us that the lake was at about the middle
of turning over.Quite dirty with a lot of stuff coming up.
Hopefully by next week it will clean up.
The water temps are right about were they need to be,
and I know better fish are being caught lately.

We’ll see what next week brings.
I dont know if I’ll make it next week, but I’m sure someone
    will let us know.

    Later Brad G.

hey brad better luck next week. Plus you don’t really want to win them when there is only 4 boats you want to win them in teh summer when there is 14 boats. Out of curiosity what where the water temps? ike
