Lake Zumbro bullgills

    Ron and I made it out to Lake Zumbro yesterday afternoon for a few hours. Lots of stripers, quite a few bluegills, a few crappies, a few smallmouth bass. Here is Ron with a couple nice bullgills.

    All fish were caught on minimite jigs tipped with a waxie. Water temp was down 3-4 degrees from last week at 79-80 degrees. With the cooler nights, it should continue to drop and fishing will just continue to improve.

    Way to go guys. Very nice bullgills. Sounds like a very fun day on the water.
