    This sounds like a great new lake to fish etc. And VERY close to where I work.

    I first read about the idea a couple years ago, so its really cool now to see some plans in place as to what they are thinking. I think it will be an awesome park. I’m curious as to what the direction the DNR will take as to how they will manage the fishery.

    I would encourage everyone to communicate with the DNR on what you would like to see available to the fisherman. I have for several years now been hinting to them that it would be very nice to have a local source for walleyes.

    I have spent so much time chasing crappies and gills since last October I’m not sure what walleyes looks like anymore.
