Just got back from the camper, spent hours on the dock this weekend. Sat am was slow, daughter caught a small perch. Sat pm was good. jr. netted 17 pannies, I got 15 and some small smallmouth, daughter caught 6. Sunday About 75 pannies and bass between the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids)..all are wet again to be caught again by others.

Saw a BEAUTY bucketmouth caught sat pm in lake winona…old timer netted probably a 5 lb (short and FAT) beauty…when a 75 year old man carries a fish to his car to get his camera to take his pic…that’s a nice fish…

Sounds like you are having fun Derrick. Where did you put your new camper at? Sounds like someplace close to water for the kids [including you] to catch some fish. Thanks for the report.

    Thanks, Bill

Yeah, we have been camping at Pla Mor south of Winona for a couple years…jump across the road for bass, northern, perch, catfish, and some monster that snapped 2 8lb leaders in 2 mornings…then into Lake Winona bor bass and all the pannies you can catch.

Just trying to “hook ’em” into fishing, like dad is…so far, so good.

Have fun in Wisconsin Derrick. After being off the computer for 5 days due to thinking lightening hit my computer I found out only the monitor was gone. Thanks to HOF for coming to the rescue with a extra monitor he had laying around. I hooked up the monitor and presto I was back in business. Thanks Bud. Anybody else care to share on their fishing outtings this past week? You don’t have to have a great day to share. We ALL learn from reading about each persons sharing. We even learn from ”what didn’t work” too. Congrats to Eric Ronningon from Rochester for his 3rd place finish on the bass tournament that took place on pools 4, 5, and 5a I believe. Way to go bud.
    Thanks, Bill
