    Hit the Zumbro sunday early with C&R (Chris) To fish for some slabs, I’ve been working so much that I haven’t seen the water for 21days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We fished small jigs tipped with a crappie minnow, Shallow water gave us a few nice one’s & a couple bass, Great to be back on the water again, Thanks Chris, You made my day with that open seat, You da man

    Thanks for the report. Great to see you two back on the water. That landscaping career is great for winter and early spring fishin but yes it does interfer with the late spring/summer fishin indeed so I bet it felt great being back on the water. Thanks for helping Doug with a fishin fix Chris.

    Hey Bill, Yes we’re really going at these days, Lots of projects going, At work & home. But you can bet your last dollar that I’ll be on the water this wknd chasing MUSKIES!!! Pics when I get home,

    Nice Bass. Always a bonus to pull in a fish like those when your fishing crappies.

    Landscaping has got to be a tough job this time of year…glad I have bankers hours I feel bad for anyone that isn’t able to get out and enjoy the water, especially at this time of year. Lake Zumbro IS a nice place to be, it’s a great fishery….even better with mini-mites Gotta thank Doug for the excellent company on the lake, couldn’t ask for a more informed and all around good person to b.s. with

    Chris, You seem to be putting me on fish alot this year , Thanks. Now this weekend it’s my turn to put you on a nice fish. Pics will follow. I can feel it already. I can hear ya saying GET THE NET!!

    Had a chance to spend the afternoon with Pastor Bruce on Lake Zumbro today. We found some real nice crappies near the opening of a bay and then found some large bullgills in very shallow. Mini-mites once again produced all the fish! Forgot the camera……
    Looks like the weather should be good this weekend, hope you are able to get out and enjoy the great fishing!

    I will have an ”update” posted tonight. I too forgot the camera so no pics for a report. I’m just going to have to quit getting so excited when I go fishin as I keep forgetting it. By the way Mike, Nate and I found where the crappies went to in the evening. They were under the boat. Seriously.
