Directions to Lake Zumbro Power Dam Landing

    I’ve always put in either at Fisherman’s Inn or Sandy Point, but would like to put in at the meeting site on Thursday night. How do I get to the Powerdam landing on Lake Zumbro?

    Coming from 52 turn right in Oronoco. Go east on Cty.12. About two miles turn left and go north on county 27. I think it’s called Power Dam Road maybe? Take that road about 4 miles or so. It’s a curvy, windy, road with some hills. After you get to the bottom of the big hill take a right. There is a big sign that says Grandpa Ed’s. Then it’s only half a mile on the left. Ponderosa Campground has a Public acsess.

    Coming from 63 Dan, how far West is County 27 or is there a quicker way coming that direction?

    Andy, if you turn left at the flashing yellow light, (Reinke’s Corner) go about three maybe four miles till Cty.27.

    Go past Sandy Point, and past Fishermans, then it should be the third road on the right after the Fisherman’s Inn road.
