Got your attention and you were all ready to read this report on some fool fishing bass out of season. Sorry to dissapoint. What i am wondering if there is still going to be tuesday night tourneys. I assume that there is but i have not read anything about them. If the first one is on the 30th i will miss it but i will be there on the 6th if there is one. Just wondering? ike

Ike- If you need a fishing partner for these tourneys I am sure I could put a few in the boat.
May 21, 2006 at 10:57 pm #447950I believe they start the first Tuesday after bass opener. I’m sure some of the bass guys can chime in here.
Good Fishing,
MikeMay 21, 2006 at 11:31 pm #447955You are correct Mike!!
The first tuesday after opener will be the start of tuesday nights.Take off is usually right at 5-o’clock.If not a little earlier.
The first night will go out of Fishermans Inn,after that, not quite sure. There was a little talk last year about going out of the Ponderoa due to Roch. Ski Club conflicts.
I will try to keep everyone informed after the first tourny.
Brad G.May 22, 2006 at 2:51 pm #448075Brad win the first one will ya as i won’t be there to win it. And i think ERon has won to many so you should take it the first one. Good luck and let us know the results. ike
May 24, 2006 at 9:28 pm #449002Brad will probably take the win. I never have the time to practice like Brad (mr) does. He has probably got his whole game plan figured out for the first few weeks. Right Brad?
May 26, 2006 at 4:32 am #449462The game plan is as follows:
Follow shiny new Champion(unless you have the flat)
Listen to the lies and BS
Kick yer #$^$@&
No,really just have a good time——and kick yer &#$^#$#
See ya tuesday!May 26, 2006 at 11:36 am #449482And here I thought people were suppose to follow the white and red Skeeter? At least thats what Eric said. [jk]
Thanks, BillSTELZPosts: 20May 30, 2006 at 3:10 pm #450167Well i should be there.. hopefully, trying to get Ike to let me barrow Ol’ Blue..
Hope to see ya tonight fellas..May 31, 2006 at 11:50 am #450381Well Eric and Brad, how did the tourney go last night? Nates working longer hours this week due to he, Jessie and Makenzie were up at Mille Lacs last Friday-Monday to catch up so we didn’t make it. I work til 5:00 and asked to be able to leave work an hour early on Tuesdays but haven’t gotten a response back yet. If I can’t get off early from work early on Tuesdays can Nate start fishing at 5:00 and then pick me up at the dock at 5:30 to fish? Next week shouldn’t be a problem as I’m off all week. Hope somebody didn’t mind taking our last place spot last night.
Thanks, BillMay 31, 2006 at 11:56 am #450383Quote:

And just think Mike, we are consistant and haven’t fished one yet either. Ok, so Nate fished a few last year, but I haven’t yet. Just hope he knows his ”this years partner” is not a bass fisherman so hopefully he doesn’t expect much. It will be alot of fun though fishing together.
Thanks, BillMay 31, 2006 at 1:06 pm #450399bill although i have never done it myself serval guys come later than the start time cause that is just what they can do. So i don’t think anyone will care unless he brings a cooler of 3 pounders
Yes brad and eric i too am curious as to what the winning weight and lures were last night. I couldn’t make it i had my daughters one year birthday party but all i could think about was bass fishing it is in my blood. ikeMay 31, 2006 at 9:13 pm #450534Surprise,Surprise.Guess who won?
Twelve boats entered, and I think 3 or 4 limits hit the scales.
1st place-Eric R. and Jimmer?-12lbs?oz.
2nd place-Matt Pretzer and Evin?-11lbs?oz.
3rd place-????-7lbs2oz.
4th place-Brad and Jason G-6lbs12oz.
5th & 6th place were around 5 1/2lbs.
Big Bass–Eric and Jimmer–4lbs.
Congrats to the winners!June 1, 2006 at 11:32 am #450642I just got the ok to leave work early on Tuesdays. Next week I’m off work so should be plenty early then.
Thanks, BillJune 1, 2006 at 10:32 pm #450842So does anyone want to tell what any of the winning combos were (lure, locations, water temp, time, etc) Just curious. ike
June 2, 2006 at 7:32 pm #451042The 1st and 2nd place finishers need to be flip flopped. We got 2nd and big bass. 1st was pretzer and Kramer. weights were right per place though. 12-2 1st 11-5 2nd.
Water temp was around 72 degrees. Nice night.
June 3, 2006 at 1:27 am #451075Really!!!
Sorry about that.Quess I should pay more attention.
Anyway,good job guys.
Brad G.June 3, 2006 at 4:30 am #451102Yes brad what exactly is in that mug you are always drinking???? Did you get what you were drinking from this little fella???
ikeSTELZPosts: 20June 6, 2006 at 1:41 am #451623Fellas,
are we still going out of Fishermens Inn tomorrow Night? or are we switching to the pondy????
Ike and I are going to try and give someone some money tomorrow night….June 6, 2006 at 6:43 pm #451803i think what my partner was trying to say is that we are looking to take someones money. WOW STELZ where is you confidence just cause you couldn’t even catch cold last week doesn’t mean things won’t change this week. WE ARE THE DOMINATION STATION. Good luck fellas tonight just not too much
June 8, 2006 at 4:21 pm #452399Don’t remeber all the weights but i think Eron and partner took first and Pretzer and evan were second. Don’t remember all the break down. All i know is that we tied brad for like 6th with 6-12. ike
June 8, 2006 at 8:51 pm #452467Ike. Steve Hady and I took 2nd with 10.03. First was Eric and Jimmer with just over 12.
June 9, 2006 at 3:53 am #452549OH PLEASE !!!!
Someday when I grow up I want to be just like Eric.
Way to go guys!June 9, 2006 at 12:36 pm #452606That is right domination station i have to talk big or i don’t know what else to say. Nice going fellas good bags of fish brought in wow. I wonder if this will keep up all summer or does it always start out like this? ike
June 11, 2006 at 2:21 am #452938I suspect as the water temps increase the fishing will become more challenging. Not every spring is this good though.
June 14, 2006 at 1:17 pm #4536546-13-06 Zumbro Bass Derby Results
1st Ken Stock and brother 10-11
2nd Jerrie Eckholdt and partner 8-09
3rd Bradley Gravendork (sp?) and brother 8-0BB Arneson 3-7 LM
Overall I think many fish were caught. It was hard to get the big fish to bite. Lots of 12″ fish. Few northerns caught too.
Brad edged us out with the old water in the bag trick. 1 0z. J/KJune 16, 2006 at 3:46 am #454119Bill- We have been missing you. I thought you were coming out. Hope to see you.
