    Hey Mike,

    I had a chance to get out for a few hours on Wed and saw you just as you were leaving the bay I was in about 3:30 PM. I was using a similar technique and had just landed a carp that weighed about 15 pounds – talk about a fight on light tackle! I had similar results but got most of my fish in shallower water that day.

    One thing I noticed is that many of the species are now starting to bite. I caught crappies, sunfish, perch, white bass, large mouth bass, and the big carp. No cats yet!
