    Lake Zumbro:
The shorelines and bays are producing some panfish. Try fishing slightly deeper, about 4-10 ft. Small jigs tipped with a waxie or minnows should be worth a try. Remember that this is an inland body of water, so bass and northern fishing is closed.

    Foster Arend Lake:
Fishing has been very good some days! Some real nice trout are being caught. Minnows, powerbait, waxies on small jigs, small spinners, small rapalas are worth trying.

    Chester Woods:
Fish are still fairly deep. Try minnows or worms for crappies and gills.

    Willow Creek:
Try fishing 4-8 ft. below a bobber with worms or waxies for gills.

    Country Club Manor pits:
Fishing has been slow. The shorelines should start producing panfish soon as the water gets warmer.

    Boy Scout (Gamehaven) Lake:
Some gills and crappies are being caught as the water warms. Try small jigs tipped with a waxie under a bobber about 2-3 ft.

    Mississippi backwaters:
The water level is still high and some areas have too much current to be able to fish well. Try finding areas without much current that warm up quickly. Some nice crappies are being caught in a few places.

Remember to stop by Hooked On Fishing for all your fishing needs. We have some great specials on quality rod & reel combinations! You will find a nice selection of live bait including nightcrawlers, minnows, leeches, and waxies. There is also a great selection of tackle to meet all your fishing needs. HOF is Rochester’s fishing headquarters!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike
