    I was invited to join C&R today for some crappie fishing. We had a Great day, Found some crappies sitting on a shelf In 12 fow, There getting ready to move in shallow
    We caught crappies, white bass, a CAT fish, (Braink must be rubbing off on me.) LOL Oh yea and a couple sm bass, With a piggie, A 19 incher full of eggs, ALL were CPR We fished a small hair jig tipped with a minnow. Pink was the color. Thanks for a GREAT time Chris, Good fishin DOUG

    Thanks for the report and pics Bud. Were you fishing on the bottom or was the jig set at a certain depth under a bobber?

    No bobber, just cast it up by shore & jig it back SLOW!!
    But had to keep it moving, Hope this helps bill. Even had a water ski show today for us, BURRRRRRR

    Thats the way Nate and I use to catch them many years ago when he was little instead of jigging or using bobbers like I have been the past couple years down there. Goes to show that good techniques never die.

    WOW…. What a FANTASTIC day to be on the water! A little windy but near 80 degrees and great company. To top it off I got to witness one beauty of a smallie landed. It looks good in the picture but the picture really doesn’t do it justice. I’m still grinning myself…Awesome job Doug!
