Lake Zumbro:
The lake has re-filled quickly from the recent rain and runoff. The lake is at no wake, but is close to being down to the point where that would be lifted. The water is dirty with some floating debris. The shorelines should be producing some panfish. Try fishing slightly deeper, about 4-10 ft. Small jigs tipped with a waxie or minnows should be worth a try. Remember that this is an inland body of water, so bass and northern fishing is closed.
Foster Arend Lake:
Some trout are being caught, many are very nice in the 15-18 inch range. Minnows, powerbait, waxies on small jigs, small spinners, small rapalas are worth trying.
Chester Woods:
Fish are still fairly deep. Try minnows or worms for crappies and gills.
Willow Creek:
Fishing has been a little slow, but that could change quickly as the water temp warms. Try fishing 4-8 ft. below a bobber with worms or waxies for gills.
Country Club Manor pits:
Fishing has been slow. The shorelines should start producing panfish soon as the water gets warmer.
Boy Scout (Gamehaven) Lake:
Some gills and crappies are being caught as the water warms. Try small jigs tipped with a waxie under a bobber about 2-3 ft.
Mississippi backwaters:
Most areas are not producing much with the high cold water. That could change quickly as the water get warmer. Try finding areas without much current that warm up quickly.
