This Saturday night [April 1st] we set the clocks ahead which means an extra hour of sunlight to fish in.
    Thanks, Bill

Yea, and I’ll be sure to think about that when I get out of bed at 4 AM (real time) Monday morning to get ready for work . I still think daylight saving time is one of the top five stupidest ideas ever concieved…

You are welcome Bud. I think the first weekend in April is sneaking up on alot of people as Saturday is the first already. My youngest daughter told me tonight while we were chatting on the phone. Slipped past me too. As I type this I hear it starting to rain outside which will help melt ice. Come on spring, more daylight hours and open water.

    Thanks, Bill

You mean the sun will stay out later? Not sure I’ll notice a change because lately I’ve been fishing before sunup to sundown. Who needs a clock when fishing? But thanks for the FYI, I guess I could use that info for my real job!

Thats even better news. The daylight savings time is coming at a perfect time as Lake Zumbro is opening up at the same time. Bait up at HOF, grab some hot tackle while you are there, cast out your bait with that St. Croix rod and set the hook. It doesn’t get any better than that.
    Thanks, Bill

ps. Sure look forward to reading everyones fishin reports this spring so everyone please feel free to share and post all you want on your fishing outtings.

Tonights the night everyone [Saturday] to set your clocks ahead to gain the extra hour of fishing sunlight at night.
    Thanks, Bill
