More Signs Of Spring

Made a trip to Northfield and Faribault Thursday and the ice on Wells lake was 2/3s off with the ice on LaCannes side. The river from Wells Lake to as far as I could see towards Cannon Lake was wide open. A good sign of spring.

Today I drove out by Fishermans Inn and the open water has widened alittle and is down alittle farther.

Anyone else seen any other signs of spring?

    Come on spring!!!

    Thanks, Bill

I was on the river the other day with my Aqu-view checking on the walleyes and I saw not one but two snapping turtles laying on bottom.

It won’t be long now Bill.

Time go get a boat [your feet on the soft water] so you can continue life fishing.

I do have a large order on the way, but I think the Postal Service will be able to handle it.
