Being that I am suffering badly with cabin fever/fishin pox and can’t wait til the ice melts all the way down to the Ponderosa on Lake Zumbro I called Fishermans in to get the boat ramp prices. Here is what I found out:

    Weekdays $4.00
    Weekends $5.00
    Yearly Pass $45.00

I figured that I’m probably not alone with having fishing pox so I am passing this info along. I don’t know what kind of shape the boat ramp will be for sure at the old Sandy Point but its been pretty silted in the past few years. If anyone has or gets any info on that ramp it would be very much appreciated if you would share it with us. Thanks.

It sounds like the channel is opening back up to Fishermans Inn again so lets hope these warmer temps and rain will open it up some more. Sorry Ron, but I’m very anxious for open water. Can’t help myself.
    Thanks, Bill

Ahhh Bill, don’t tell us you go out to the garage after dinner and sit in the boat Looks like this rain will end ice fishing for us so all we can look for now is an early ice out and hit the ramps..keep us posted, thanks

Slow down there Billy! Still got some serious ice fishing to do. I think you need to head to Red Wing for an open water fix!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike

Unfortunately I don’t have a garage so only the jon boat is sitting in the driveway. The Lund is at Nates in St. Charles in his garage. I was suppose to go there last night to get it ready but something came up so will go tonight instead. Come on spring.
    Thanks, Bill

There is something about picturing a huge 15 inch crappie battling against being brought into the boat! Yep, now I’m READY!!!

    Good Fishing,

If you are going to catch a 15 ” crappie DON’T FORGET the camera. And don’t catch it until I’m in the boat with you cause I wanna see it. Come on spring.
    Thanks, Bill
