    Was running errands and decided to stop at Foster and give it a shot before the rain moved in this afternoon. Worked the north shore 12-18 fow with a minnow and waxies. One bite and one 15″ rainbow was all that happened. Hit a gold pimple tipped with waxworm right on the bottom. Nice fight on that carbon rod. Thanks HOF. If the forecast for rain over the next week holds up, the ice could be done. Had about 9″ in the area I fished.

    Thanks for the report Brian. Yep, these warmer temps and rain could hurry the ice melting some so we have some open water by the end of the month or before. Now open water shore fishin would sound like fun. I think I could handle that. Yes, I’m VERY anxious for that. Please keep us updated on any more shopping erands you run that turn into fishin outtings that you make Bud.
