Oblong holes

    My Mayflower brand (hand me down, came over on the Mayflower) power auger is starting to drill oblong holes. Knives getting dull? I’ve never had this problem before.

    I would try having the blades sharpened. Sounds like they might not be sharp enough to bite well and drill straight. How long has it been since sharpening them?

    bet one side is loose, been there before….
