Our own RHW (Ron) is under the knife this morning at St Marys to have a tumor removed. Please stop and say a prayer for him, his doctors and family.

Just heard that he is out of surgery and should be up to his room soon. He is at St. Mary’s hospital in Rochester.
This was to remove a tumor from his brain, so very delicate stuff. Recovery may take quite a while, but I’ll hope to get him out ice fishing as soon as possible.

Visited Ron at the hospital this afternoon. He is doing very well, in fact will probably be discharged tomorrow!!!

Ron was discharged this morning. Can you believe that? Had a tumor removed from his brain on Friday and discharged 48 hours later. Everything went perfect. The Lord sure answered prayers. Thank You Lord.

Thank you everyone for the warm wishes and those special prayers. The surgery was done in text book style without any complications that even surprised the surgeon. Plucked that bad boy tumor out and even took it a step further by fine tuning my fishing awareness. Asked me if I wanted to be really intelligent or a better fisherman, so guess what I opted for. Thanks again for all your thoughts, much appreciated.

Ya know, one good thing about Ron’s surgery is that he actually has less hair than me – at least for a couple weeks….

Saw RHW at the Rochester Sport and Boat Show Saturday. Great to see you starting to get out some Bud. Sorry I couldn’t talk long. Was a busy place and people were interested in boats. Come spring I expect you to be ready for some panfishing on Lake Zumbro.
