Lake Byllesby?

Anyone been out there? I need a place to go and have wanted to try it….is there any ice? Fish? Hints?

I haven’t been out there yet this year, but have an 8×8 perm that i have had out there the last few years. Fishing is usually pretty good, usually get a ton of crappies and some nice walleye too. I would not go out on the lake yet though. It’s a resivior, and the channel runs through in many areas of the lake. You can still see some open water on some parts of the lake. I have heard that the ice is 6 inches in some spots, but 1 or 2 a few feet away. However, there have been an increasing number of portables and even some small perms on the northside near the center of the lake on Hwy 88. I just have to say use caution. Haven’t heard of much fish coming through the ice though yet.
I just finished a bunch of remodeling on my perm and just waiting for some more ice before i even go out there.

Nice meeting you yesterday Troy….how did you fare? We ended up getting hot again after talking to you…had to change out jigs till I found what they wanted then caught enough to keep me from being depressed. Probably will see you out and about again

Did you guys find the walleyes??????

We didn’t get out on Byllesby, went to a local place…good time…got to try out my new Vex, my new Frabill triplex, and take the kids fishing….
