The Silver Creek Reservoir controversy takes on yet another confusing interpretation. For those of you who haven’t, please, read the Rochester Post Bulletin Newspapers edition, Thursday, December 15th, page 5A. This has got to be one of the most ambiguos definitions I have ever read.
Hey, I used to be a news reporter and wrote news stories, but this one has got me scratching my head. Lets see if I have it right. Law abiding citizens are expected to obey the no trespassing signs and stay off. However, a blind eye will be closed to those who choose to ignore this warning and shouldn’t fear any reprocautions? OK, now you explain to me if there is any confusion with this newest and latest decision???????

Stating it this way will only cause trouble. I would strongly advise people to NOT go there as it will make gaining future access more impossible to get. Our best way to gain access in the future is to abide by the law and stay away from there. Its in YOUR best interest.
    Thanks, Bill

Bill, I whole harderly agree with you. We each have the responsibilitly to be law abiding fisherpeople. Yes, since it is uncertain out at Silver Creek, I will avoid going there. However, without a clear and defined law, what about those unscrupulous people that will only laugh and take advantage of a loop hole. It only takes a couple to spoil it for the mass majority.

Unfortuately it does only take a few to ruin it for everyone. I hope everyone will stay away from there and show the township people that anglers are good law abiding people and then maybe they might think more towards opening it up for fishing in the future.
    Thanks, Bill

OK guys, let’s come back to reality on this.
People will continue to ice fish there. Don’t forget that there is legal access from the road to the creek.
I’ve attended one of the meetings and there are some very unreasonable people on the township board. They could have easily had a good solution, but refuse to be even remotely reasonable.
    Politics – baa humbug!

    Good Fishing,
    Mike
