You know Bill, I have caught some nice cats from Chester Woods. Always by accident while fishing for gills. The largest was about 10 lbs., on an ultra-light rod with 4 lb. line. It was quite a battle!
The largest cat I have heard of coming out of Chester was pushing 20 lbs.
It really is a good fishery. Big cats, big gills, nice crappies, lots of bass. Another gem close to Rochester!
